Enric Senabre Hidalgo is the principal investigator and contact of the Common Margins project. Ramón y Cajal research fellow and professor at the Faculty of Information and Audiovisual Media (FIMA), Universitat de Barcelona, he works at the intersection of qualitative research methods experimentation, ethnographic writing and open knowledge. He is a member of the Centre of Research in Information, Communication and Culture (CRICC) and the Women & Wikipedia research group. He also serves as president of the Platoniq Foundation and is co-founder of the open-source crowdfunding platform Goteo.org and the pliegOS.net open publishing initiative.
Common Margins is developed in collaboration with the pliegOS.net collective (part of the Cooperativised Activity Group Transitant within femProcomuns) and other individual artists / researchers:
Marcantoni Malagarriga-Picas: Software developer since 1987, specializing in PostScript and PDF technologies, with a focus on text and typography.
Ricard Espelt: Associate professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business and senior researcher at the Urban Transformation and Global Change Laboratory, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
Mònica Garriga & David Gómez: cofounders and worker members of femProcomuns coop, providing FLOSS technology and exploring collective sustainability for the Commons.
Ariadna Torres: Poet and experimenter with words and images, artisan and teacher of papermaking using weeds and spontaneous herbs.
Rosa Cerarols: Lecturer in the Department of Humanities at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, writer and co-founder of the multidisciplinary space Konvent.
