Enric Senabre Hidalgo is the principal investigator and contact of the Common Margins project. Ramón y Cajal research fellow and professor at the Faculty of Information and Audiovisual Media (FIMA), Universitat de Barcelona, he works at the intersection of qualitative research methods experimentation, ethnographic writing and open knowledge. He is a member of the Centre of Research in Information, Communication and Culture (CRICC) and the Women & Wikipedia research group. He also serves as president of the Platoniq Foundation and is co-founder of the open-source crowdfunding platform Goteo.org and the pliegOS.net open publishing initiative.

In collaboration with other researchers, artists and institutions, the project activities around the pliegOS initiative have also as key partners:

Ricard Espelt: Associate professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business and senior researcher at the Urban Transformation and Global Change Laboratory, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.

Marcantoni Malagarriga-Picas: Software developer since 1987, specializing in PostScript and PDF technologies, with a focus on text and typography.

Mònica Garriga and David Gómez: Worker members of femProcomuns, providing FLOSS technology and exploring collective sustainability for the Commons.

Ariadna Torres: Poet and experimenter with words and images, artisan and teacher of papermaking using weeds and spontaneous herbs.
